The TIO Digital Amplifier from Tripath is astounding! I hooked up the TIO Digital Amplifier to my generic sound card and its quality is a lot better compared to the quality of sound my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card puts out. This card is made with the revolutionary T-Class chip, which filters out a lot of static / noise.

The card itself |
The installation for the digital amplifier is very easy.
1. Insert the TIO into an open PCI slot.
2. Connect (via wire) the TIO to your soundcard.
3. Plug Tripath’s TIO into your home-stereo speakers.
4. Enjoy audio from your computer at a whole new level.
This card runs off of your old sound card. It only filters out the noise and amplifies the sound so it can be output with superior quality to the Home Stereo. It never deals with any thing else, so there is no driver needed. That makes just makes it simpler to install.
The change from my old little speakers to a 340w sub-woofer was amazing. The music coming from my home-stereo speakers makes each song seem more vibrant. In games, even the little things are emphasized that I would have overlooked with my old speakers. And with DVD’s, now by using my home-stereo speakers, it’s like having my own home-theatre in my room.

This card also allows you to have your home-stereo speakers installed as well as your old speakers. So when you need more performance from your speakers just turn on your home-stereo speakers; when you don’t need that much performance just turn on your old computer speakers. The TIO allows you to run both bookshelf and computer speakers at the same time.
This card is a must have. With the T-Class chip, a chip that has taken sound to a whole new level, this card’s performance that is unbeatable.
